Special Moments
Several times during our tours we have special experiences, where Flora & Faune show us their best side.
These moments are those highlights , over which we are happy the most, and if our guests can take a good photo of that even and share it with us , they become unique memories:
-
Description:
In the shade of an acacia (acacia umbrella thorn / vachellia tortilis) it is easy to take a little break even at high temperatures. Before the shepherd moves on with his flock, Michaela, Armin, Reiner, Anja, Hedi and Manfred have quickly taken a great snapshot of him during our tour in Westsalalah to Fazayah. Thank you for this beautiful impression.
-
Description:
From one of the many crabs (presumably Eriphia spp. (E.g. eriphia Sebana or eriphia smithii)) Michaela, Armin, Reiner, Anja, Hedi and Manfred culd take a beautiful photo during our Westsalalalahtour on the beach of Fazayah. Thank you.
-
Description:
Surrounded by palm trees, deserted, white beaches and impressive rock formations in the background adorn this stunning landscape photo from Mughsail Beach. Captured on our Westsalalah Tour by Michaela, Armin, Reiner, Anja, Hedi and Manfred. Thank you!
-
Description:
A particularly beautiful view of desert Rose (Adenium obesum) seen and photographed during the Mountain Safari by Corinna and Werner. Thank you.
-
Description:
Peter and Renate photographed this Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) during our East Salalah tour on a fishing boat in the port of Mirbat. Thank you.
-
Description:
We found this individual dolphin at the end of our Mountain Safari. He probably is one of the indo-pacific humpback dolphins , and could belong to the kind of "lead-colored dolphins" (Sousa plumbea). From the Taqah Plateau, we observed this probably male dolphin for a while. He could have separated himself from the herd to hunt. Thanks to Michaela, Armin, Reiner, Anja, Hedi and Manfred for these great pictures.
